• This is currently an active state tower
• The first tower at this site was a 48 FT tower with a spiral staircase
• The land for the tower was donated by the North Shore Imporvement Association with a $500 donation which was to be put toward the tower
• A new cab was built in 1926
• In 1947, two-way radios were installed
• In 1969, this tower was dismantled and sold and a new 68 FT tower (current one) was constructed
